Since Nanny arrived in mid-May we have been hopping from one thing to the next! Of course, there was the excitement of Nanny arriving, then Jordy's party to prep for and right after that Uncle Larry and Aunt Virginia came up for a few days to have a visit too! It was great to see them, and to let them spend a little time with Nanny. They are even talking about the possibility of doing a cruise together to see the Panama Canal!
Taking the Leatons out for an Authentic Chinese food experience at Hon's.
They were tickled by the hot tea served in tumblers.
We let Nanny do all the ordering
steamed BBQ pork buns, so yummy!
Chris and I were impressed by Uncle Larry's chopstick chops!
After dinner we went for gelato and met Rylie, a very extroverted four year-old
who performed a number of nursery songs for us!
Cygni and Mom waiting for our tow truck dude to load up the Camry
we all got a kick out of seeing so many purple starfish
clumped together on each and every post!

Clambering up after her brother!
Last friday we went out to the North Shore so that Nanny could have a visit with her dear friend, Colleen. It didn't start out to be the most promising day, but eventually the cloud burned off and we got some lovely, warm sunshine!
Cygni wasn't too interested in posing for a photo, but Jordan obliged!
And then last weekend, Nanny went to stay a few days with her friend Alice and makes some rounds to her buddies in Richmond. So we had a BBQ on Saturday and then on Sunday Jordan went to a classmate's birthday party. Again, though the weather looked iffy, it delivered a gorgeous sunny day by the time the party rolled around. We had a lot of fun playing in the big back yard!

A blue dog on a leash!
pinata time!
After a few hours, Jordy was feeling pretty tired and cranky, and the cake and presents were still a long way off, so we left the party. But since we missed the cake, I promised J-man I would take him for a donut, so we stopped at Krispy Kreme and this is what happened! We only have a few more days for the Little Dumers to soak up as much Nanny-lovin' as they can. I think it's going to be very hard for them to say good-bye this time.
