Fun, Cold Stuff

A photo from the big BCS Championship game last January,
I can't believe we forgot to post it -- it's so darn cute!

Thank you, Big Dumer for finally getting that post up about out visit to Children's Hospital for the CT scan. In somewhat related news, Jordy also went to his audiologist's office for another VRA hearing test last week. If you have forgotten what that means, it's simply a way of testing his hearing that imvolves playing a tone and rewarding the child when he acknowledges the sound (by looking toward the perceived source of the noise) with visual reinforcement; usually something like a dancing bunny or spinning carousel type thing. Jordan did not cooperate even ONE LITTLE BIT! He completely ignored everything she tried. We're going to try again in a few months, but Ingrid said he may just be at the age where he is no longer interested in the VRA rewards. So we are going to try practicing for a different testing that gets the kiddo to plunk a toy/object into a container whenever he hears the tones. Still, that sounds pretty advanced, and I would be very surprised if he was proficient enough to test that way in six months. Besides that we have had fun playing in a recent snowfall.

Sporting the new snow-suit from Nanny

Daddy, I don't think he wants his first taste of snow just yet!

And then after playing in the snow, Jordy got to have something else fun and cold, and ice cream cone which he insisted he needed no help at all with!

And in case you always wanted to know what a mac'n'cheese dinner mask, with a layer of ice cream over top looks like, wonder no more!
