Autumn Wonder

The Little Dumers have been enjoying Autumn,  One of their favourite activities after picking up J-man from school, at least while they could, was gathering conkers (aka horse chestnuts or buckeyes) freshly fallen onto the ground.  Cygni loved to collect a large bunch and count them up, then argue with Mommy about just how many she got to take home. While Jordy was adept at spotting the "unhatched" ones.  He loved finding them still in their spiky shells, and then stomping them until they opened up, a shiny new chestnut treasure revealed inside.

C and C, BFFs ready to hunt for the perfect pumpkin

Cygni and Mom went with the BrightStart pre-schoolers to Laity Pumpkin Patch to choose pumpkins too.  She had a lot of fun and stayed close by her friend Carly.  Carly has been instrumental in assisting Cygni with the transition away from mommy every day.  Sometimes she cries.  But since she has made a little friend, it has been easier to get her to look forward to playing with her buddy.  Cygni says, "Carly takes care of me at pre-school."

Jordy goes to the pumpkin patch with his class this week, so keep an eye out for those photos too!
