Bright Night in Stanley Park

Ever since Deb moved up to BC in 2002, she has wanted to go to Bright Nights in Stanley Park to ride the miniature train and ooh and ahh over the park strung festively with lights.  Finally, ten years later we've gone!  Mommy had to question whether or not it was meant to be however, when we were just the fourth party from the front of the queue to board only to have the next train break an axle pulling into the depot!  We toughed it out for an hour though and once they were able to link up a new engine we jovially boarded, waved bye-bye to the families on the platform and allowed ourselves to be dazzled by the lights and music.  It was well worth the wait!

Mommy loves this picture because you can see just how much Jordy is loving the ride!

Partial proceeds from Bright Nights go to the BC Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund,
so it's a great cause as well as a fun night out.
