As most of you know, our little Cygni Miranda will be a year old in just a few days! Her birthday is November 5th, but we decided to celebrate her 1st year today. Her little friends Nolan and Isabella came to help celebrate and Jordy was ready to say, "Happy Birthday, Cygni!" Jordan was a bit of a handful; not sure he's ever experienced not being the centre of attention on this kind of scale before, so he was very clingy and forced Cygni to share a lap many times today. He eventually settled for sitting with Mommy while Daddy helped Cygni to open presents, and once we let him loose on a cupcake he was good to go. Cygni didn't have the bestest birthday, because she smacked the back of her noggin pretty hard on the tv stand when we were trying to have some song and story time, and then just as she was getting over that she got her hair tangled in Mommy's necklace! Poor babe! It was a while before a fun birthday present from Auntie Sara perked her up. After presents we all had cake, and then the Birthday Princess retired to her crib for a long nap. It was a lovely celebration! Thank you everyone for coming and helping us to celebrate!
