Hippity Hoppity

Hey!  Look who's wearing her Easter bonnet!
(This lasted about an hour, until she saturated her pretty dress with drool!
Cygni had three wardrobe changes that day!)

Sorry we are a week late on our Easter post!  With Cygni now sleeping in the same room as the computer, it is tricky finding time to update the blog.  This year was a very fun Easter indeed!  We invited Mommy's friend Cindi and her family over for an Easter morning egg hunt.  We didn't quite think the kids were ready for a big time production like they do through the city, so we just had one for the two boys in our back yard.  It was a gorgeous sunny day outside, the Daddies hid the eggs and the boys enaged in the activity even better than we had hoped; Nolan really got into searching for eggs, and though Jordy would sometimes got distracted from the hunting to eat one of the treasures he found, he still found a lot.  At one point J-man stuffed an ENTIRE Cadbury Creme Egg into his mouth!  He tried to chew and swallow, but it was just a smidge too much for him -- crazy kid!  The parents had a ton of fun and the kids did too.  Later on, we had our favourite friends Tia Aida and Uncle Mark over for Mommy's famed raspberry chipotle glazed ham.  We had a lovely day with some great company!  We hope your Easter was lovely too!

The Big Bunny didn't load Jordy and Daddy up too much on chocolate
for the ol' Easter basket, he knew there was still an egg hunt ahead
and that Tia would probably bring some goodies too, and he was right!

Stopping to nosh on some chocolate he found!

What?  Look under the car...?

Told ya, Nolan!  It's an Easter Egg!
Put it in your bag with all the rest of your haul....

Cindi brought over some crazy super-strong bubble mix which Jordy loved!

stre-etch!

 hmmm, an unattended Easter Basket...

LOL, this photo got a lot of comments when Cindi posted it on FB, her caption, "Seriously dude, I can't put down my basket for a second?!?"

She may not have done any egg hunting,
but Cygni enjoyed watching the boys and sitting in the sunshine just the same...
...though we aren't sure how she felt about her bro doing this!

Time for Easter Dinner!
Aww, don't worry guys, it's not you, it's her.

The cake Mommy made

Do you like her Easter Fascinator?
Mommy and Tia made them at a fun workshop that weekend,
if you look back at the picture of Aida you can see she is wearing hers too.
