As Chris mentioned last week, The Little Dumer turned 1 this last weekend and finally, Mommy has found a spare moment to let you see the photos. We had a grand time of it. I was expecting Jordan to have a meltdown at some point, with all the excitement, but he never did. We enjoyed seeing our guests in their best beach gear and ate some delicious party food.

On Jordan's birthday I took a moment to reflect back on that first day he came into our lives. Jordy was so small and helpless, he was a little red and swollen, and his poop resembled tar; despite all of these off-putting things he managed to touch a region of my heart which I wasn't at all sure existed, and that real estate seems only to grow as he does. Every so often, Chris turns to me with a look of surprise and says, "I love him!" To which I reply, "I know!" To which Chris responds, "I didn't know I would love him this much!" And I find I feel the same way.
Oh and before I forget, it's time once again for the sign of the week, the letter "B."
