Mommy's Mother's Day Itinerary. It was a lovely, relaxing day - the boys are going to have a hard time topping this one next year!
What a wonderful weekend the Dumaresq Family just had! The weather was just beautiful, sunny, and even downright warm on Sunday. Nanny came over on Saturday - she's got to get as much grandbaby time as possible before she goes to Newfoundland for the summer -- and got to play with Jordy while Mommy and Daddy went out on a much needed date night. They had a leisurely dinner, browsed in a bookstore, shared an ice cream cone, and saw Date Night which was hilarious. The next morning was Mother's Day. Daddy made a delicious brekkie for Nanny and Mommy and Jordy got his first taste of ham, he seems to be a huge fan.
Daddy scored some major brownie points with EVERYONE this weekend!
After breakfast Nanny and Mommy went shopping and came back home with Jordan's very first 1st Birthday gift - a backyard playset! Chris put it together that afternoon and it is a huge hit with the Little Dumer. He put up a big fuss when it was time to eat our delicious BBQ dinner (courtesy once again, of Daddy,) and leave his brand new toy behind.
Haha! Daddy and I laugh when we see this photo, doesn't his face seem to say,
"I'm Jordan, this is my castle, don't you get on my castle!"
