Once again, a week has gotten away from us much too easily! The Little Dumer is growing for sure! His newborn clothes barely fit and he has nearly graduated to size 1 disposables (which we use only at night.) He is so strong! Sometimes he pushes off from your chest or tummy so hard with his feet that if Daddy or I didn't have a good hold on him he'd be on the floor for certain! And he can now hold his head up for longer periods of time, half a minute last night! He spends a lot more of his time with his eyes wide open, taking in the world and occasionally lets out a very cute gurgle or coo, he had a pretty good conversation going with The Big Dumer last week; he spouted off a good long series of ohs.

Last week was an exciting one for Jordan. He got to hang out with Mommy's buddy, Jen who visite us on Monday. Jordy liked this as she sang him a song about a moose who spilt his juice. We also went for a few walks to the store and he was very good on all of them, only crying for a few minutes at the check-out on our last visit. Then last Saturday we met up with our friends John and Stacy and their one year-old, Evan at my old Starbucks. The store was raising money for Breast Cancer Research and so we came and entered the raffles and bought some drinks by donation and let everyone ooh and ahh over the little guy. It was a beautiful sunny day and very busy, as that night Jordy met Chris' Aunt Jo and Aunt Maureen (who came all the way from Quebec. ) And to round the week out Jordan spent some quality time with Daddy on Sunday while Mommy went out for the first time ever without her Baby Boy! I decided it was way past time I got these eyebrows back under control, so I saw my esthetician and did a little shopping; it was only a couple of hours but it was nice. And the boys rubbed along just fine without the old lady! In fact, Jordan probably would have been better off had Mommy stayed out because that afternoon while attempting to trim his fingernails, the kiddo moved suddenly and Mommy wound up taking a chunk out of her little man's finger. Both Mother and Baby had a good cry over that one! The injury appears to be okay now though and I think Jordan's already forgotten, but it may be awhile before I work up the courage to cut his nails again!
